Dr. Martin Luther King Holiday Petition 1983 Vintage 8x10 Photo Negative - This is a rare vintage 8x10 Negative that was used to make photographic prints and for publication in support of the petition that was signed by 6 million Americans to declare a National Holiday in honor of the great civil rights leader Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, which was signed into law by President Ronald Reagan in 1983. This is a vintage studio or photographer's 8x10 inch black and white photographic negative from that was from the famed Marvin Paige Motion Picture and Television Research Archive. Marvin Paige was a renowned Hollywood casting agent who had worked on such productions as 'Breakfast at Tiffany's and 'Planet of the Apes' and a film historian who had amassed a huge archive of movie and television images and memorabilia . This vintage negative was created from the original camera negative by the studio or photographer in order to make prints and use for publications.
